Hybrid program – In person at TAY and on Zoom. In this presentation, Dr. Anbar will describe four patient case studies that were pivotal to the integration of Judaism into his medical practice. His work with these patients illustrates an ethical dilemma that was resolved based on Torah, how thoughts can affect health, how we may be guided through life, and how accessing the subconscious can lead to great insight. Dr. Ran Anbar is a pediatric pulmonologist who specializes in pediatric hypnosis. He is the author of “Changing Children’s Lives with Hypnosis: A Journey to the Center.” Dr. Anbar has been very active in the Jewish community, and served as coordinator of Torah readers at Temple Adath Yeshurun from 1994-2015. Dr. Anbar also has helped prepare more than 100 children to become B’nei Mitzvah.
