At its January 2023 meeting, the Temple Adath Yeshurun Board of Directors accepted the recommendation of the COVID Committee to base our masking requirements on the COVID community level reported by the CDC for Onondaga County which is updated weekly.
Going forward:
As before, masks may be removed for the purpose of eating and drinking at events.
At this point, we are making no changes to the current masking guidelines for Religious School.
When masking is mandatory, masks should be of medical quality. Cloth masks may be worn in front of or behind a medical mask, but are not sufficient alone. We are happy to provide a mask if you are in need of one.
Please continue to refrain from coming to programming or services if you have any symptoms of illness including cough, significant nasal congestion, sore throat, or fever. We continue to strongly recommend you stay up to date with COVID vaccinations and boosters.
We are an inclusive community and want everyone to feel safe and welcome. When masks are optional, please remember to kindly and respectfully allow physical distancing to those who desire it.
