PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION
The goal of the RECC is to provide children ages 10 months to five years with a warm, loving atmosphere that will promote their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. Through our sensitive and caring staff, our children experience a stimulating foundation for the future.

Programs are available for 10 month olds through Advanced Pre-Kindergarten. Regular hours are 8:45 a.m - 3:30 p.m. Extended hours are 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The children are taught a traditional early childhood curriculum by experienced teachers in our beautiful facility at Temple Adath Yeshurun. Age appropriate activities include art, music, computer, science and physical education. We offer fully-equipped classrooms and a state-of-the-art playground.

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
For students in grades K-7. Children are provided with a safe, caring and fun environment. Our Before School Program begins at 6:30 a.m. until bus pick up. Our After School Program runs until 5:30 p.m. Children receive a nutritious snack and participate in a variety of activities including physical education, art, computer activities, games or homework. Parents arrange for free transportation to the RECC through their own school district. In the event that the public schools are closed, we are open for children enrolled in our program. During school breaks, holidays, snow days or even unexpected early closings, there is a place to bring your child.

CAMP ROTHSCHILD
Our summer program offers fun for children ages 18 months through 12 years. The program, taught by trained and mature staff, utilizes our spacious grounds and facilities. A variety of age appropriate activities, including nature walks, canoeing, science experiments, arts and crafts, music, sports and planned rainy day programs are scheduled weekly. A Swim Program (for children ages 3 and older) is also offered, taught by lifeguards and water safety instructors. A morning and afternoon snack, and a nutritious lunch are included daily. Our summer program has a weekly theme and numerous surprise events.

JEWISH CONTENT PROGRAM
This is an optional program for participating children offered two times each week. Taught by an enthusiastic and experienced teacher, this program explores Judaism through stories, songs, games and crafts. It is a hands-on, interactive program where the children visit our sanctuary and have the opportunity to go up to the pulpit, look inside the ark and open a Torah. Every Friday, the children experience Shabbat, complete with candles, challah and juice. Children look forward to the annual Hanukkah party, Purim parade and mini-seder. This is a wonderful introduction to Jewish values and Jewish life. These classes are for all interested children.
