CHERYL LIVSHIN
Cheryl Livshin is Executive Director of the RECC. Cheryl graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Oswego. She then worked with junior and senior high school students until she entered the field of early childhood in 1984, teaching 3 and 4 year-olds and kindergarten. She worked at the Dewitt Child Development Center from 1992 to 1999 as Program Coordinator. Before coming to RECC, Cheryl continued to work in early childhood education and is continuously working on her training as a Director. She attends the State Conferences of NAEYC and the Director's Association at the Child Care Council of Onondaga County.

JOAN DEVENDORF
Joan Devendorf is the Assistant Director of the RECC. Joan has a BA in education from St. Leo University in Florida. She has been a member of our teaching staff since 1989 teaching our 3 and 4 year-olds and Advanced Pre-K. She has served as Assistant Director since 2000.

MEL BESDIN
Mel Besdin heads the After School program. Mel has worked with school-aged children since 1954 and has owned and managed several summer camps in Central New York. A Syracuse University alumnus, Mel majored in physical education and sociology and was a valuable member of the Orangemen basketball team.
