The Sisterhood of Temple Adath Yeshurun
is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Conservative Judaism. We
provide a venue for women to find opportunities for friendship, education,
and growth. We offer support and service to one another, the synagogue and
the Jewish Community.
The Sisterhood of Temple Adath Yeshurun encompasses 250 women, with varying
areas of interest and capabilities. We have monthly meetings with featured
speakers, musical performances, creative activities, and much more. Our meetings
take place on Wednesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, or Sunday mornings, depending
on the calendar of events. We alternate the meeting times to accommodate everyone's
different schedule needs.
All that we do benefits the Temple. From running the Judaica shop, to the Library,
to the Fine Arts & Crafts Show, to the two annual Rummage Sales. Our efforts
are limitless and there is always plenty for new members to enjoy and participate
in. After services every Shabbat we provide a Kiddush for the Congregation,
and also offer Extended Kiddushes for special occasions.
We support the Torah Fund Campaign of Women's League for Conservative Judaism
on behalf of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America. In this way our members
participate in the development, strengthening and maintenance of Jewish Theological
Seminary.

Club has established ongoing social events for the families of Temple Adath.

In this way we show our support and respect for Seniors, Youth, Sisterhood
and other groups in the community. If Temple Adath interests you then we invite
you to join us in Men’s Club. In Friendship, in service we welcome you.

The Friendship Connection
of Temple Adath Seniors
WE ARE UNIQUE! Open to the Jewish community, non-profit,
we are the ONLY group of our kind in the area.
No synagogue affiliation is required.
We are open-minded and encourage participation in our monthly Board Meetings
and welcome suggestions for program events. Do you like travel, musical events,
educational topics, and movies? A few of our programs have included the Syracuse
Symphony String Quartet, musicals, & massage therapy with a free massage.
Yearly we have an indoor picnic with entertainment, and a Chanukah Party celebration,
as well as our Officer Installation Dinner. We’ve had luncheon boat cruises,
overnight travel, scenic train rides, interactive dinner plays, casino excursions,
our educational Health for Life Series, and musical specials, such as the Itzhak
Perlman Concert
We offer an opportunity with our monthly programs to come together to enrich
our lives, meet with old friends, and cultivate new friendships in a warm and
caring atmosphere. Our group discounts allow us to have varied programs at
affordable prices.
Most of our programs are open to non-members with a slight extra charge, but
the cost for membership is negligible. So, why not become a member now?
