Adult Chorale

The adult choir is open to both temple members and non- members. The group, led by Baalat Tefillah Esa Jaffe, gives people interested in Jewish music a place to come together to learn Jewish songs and share in the experience of making beautiful music. The ability to read Hebrew or music is not a requirement, but organizers are looking for people with some musical abilities who can sing with others and become part of an ensemble. The Temple Adath adult choir performs in the synagogue and also around the community as opportunities become available. The repertoire of the group includes liturgical music as well as traditional folk songs, Israeli songs and modern Jewish music.

The group rehearses once a week on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm. The adult choir will join the newly formed youth choir at Temple Adath to become part of a comprehensive music program at the synagogue. Anyone interested should contact Esa Jaffe at 445-0002, ext. 112 or email ejaffe@adath.org.
