Passover Sedarim


First night, Monday, March 29, 7:00 p.m.
The first evening is a “Seder in Song,” appealing to both children and adults. It is an energetic, hand-clapping Seder with “live music,” like our Shabbat in the Round with its accomplished musicians. It is telling the story of Passover in music from beginning to end. Sit-down dinner Catered by Yankel & Co. A traditional Seder plate will be at each table.

Second night, Tuesday, March 30, 6:30 p.m.
Second night Passover Seder is more traditional and text focused, the Haggadah. As always the highlight of the evening is the search for the Afikoman with gifts for all young people. And as in the past, there are “unexpected guests.” Catered by Yankel & Co., a sit down dinner will be served in the ballroom.

Price for adults is $38, children 5 to 12 yrs. is $17, and children 4 and under are free.

Sweet and Sour Brisket of Beef
Slowly roasted in ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, duck sauce
and a rich onion stock
Herb Encrusted Salmon
Fresh Atlantic salmon encrusted with fresh herbs, lemon juice,
olive oil, fresh basil accompanied by a white wine beure blanc
Oven Roasted Red Potatoes
Young New York State red potatoes, sliced and oven braised
with rosemary and shallots
Asparagus
Drizzled with olive oil and slowly roasted
Tradional Garden Salad
A trio of mixed green, grape tomatoes, English cucumbers, shredded carrots, red cabbage, with a vinegarette dressing
Dessert
fruit, chocolate-covered strawberries, macaroon cookies
